I would say most likely the gastritis has the caused the rapid weight loss i have experienced the same thing, not as dramatic though it all started for me jan 2016 at which point i was at 215, by the end of 2016 i was at 165 i simply lost appetite i'm pretty sure mine was caused by excessive coffee and even more so alcohol. I am 23, male. 6'0 ~ 160lbs (now) (most ever is maybe 172, always around 166) and have a fast metabolism. before all this anxiety and little depression kicked in hard over the last 2 weeks, i would eat maybe close to 3200cals a day and work out fairly regularly. i was recently diagnosed with gastritis about 3. My question is weight loss! four months ago, i stopped synthetic hormones and within a few months lost around 6-8 lbs. with or without hormones, i always struggled with trying to lose those 5lbs! i started having very bad gastritis symtoms about 6 weeks ago. i contributed this towards taking motrin (3 at a time, 3 times a day) for a few weeks..
